Ocean Swim, HB Tower 9 (City Beach), at 8 am, Sunday, April 3rd

You’re invited to our ocean swim. We meet at (City) Tower 9 off PCH & Huntington Street. In the water by 8:15.

Conditions look good: waves will be 2-3 ft; a little windy, so there might be some chop (MagicSeaWeed exaggerates their wind forecast). Cloudy skies, but  water near 60 F!

We can escort you through the waves if you need help.

Recently, we’ve been swimming ~1,500 yards. If there are enough swimmers, we can break into 2 groups with one swimming ~1,500 yards and the other 2,000-2,500 yards.

Water might feel a little cool to the uninitiated. So, pack a hot beverage to drink immediately upon exiting the water (not your car). This is more important as it will be windy and cloudy.
